Delivery – Our local delivery area includes everything within a 50 mile radius of our store with purchase of $599 or greater. For example, Mayfield, KY, Murray, KY, Harrisburg, IL, Marion, IL, Union City, TN, Cape Girardeau, MO, Martin, TN, Herrin, IL and Carbondale, IL are all within 60 miles of our store. Extra fees apply for any delivery outside of a 50 mile radius of our store.

STORE HISTORY

Founded by the late Ollie and Maurene Higdon, their nine children and spouses have carried on the family tradition of providing comfortable, affordable home furnishings to families throughout the 4-state area.

Higdon Furniture was established in 1970- on Cairo Road. During the 70’s Higdon Furniture expanded its operation to Mayfield and Murray but later closed those stores to consolidate and move in a different direction.

In the 80’s, Higdon Furniture purchased McBride Interiors that carried higher end furniture and offered interior decorating.

In the late 80’s, the decision was made to consolidate the two locations and Higdon McBride Furniture Showrooms was created. During this time, our company became a hotspot for furniture shoppers.

In the winter of 2004, heavy snow collapsed one of three showrooms at our Cairo Road location; however, we continued to conduct business. During this time, the decision was made to build a new showroom closer to I-24 near Kentucky Oaks Mall. In June of 2007, we opened the doors to our new 45,000 square feet showroom at 3930 Coleman Crossing Circle.
